Darrell Wilkerson
was born in Mebane, North Carolina and now makes his home in Burlington, NC.  He became interested in bluegrass music at an early age and started playing banjo when he was 9 years old and has loved the music ever since.  He lists his father, Nicky Wilkerson, also a musician,  as a big influence as well as his banjo teacher,  Joe Snipes.  Darrell has played with several bands over the years including Carolina Drive, The Tims Family,  and Honi Deaton and Dream.   Some of his favorite banjo players are J.D. Crowe, Ron Stewart, Jim Mills and of course the legendary Earl Scruggs.   Darrell is happy to be playing with Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice and his solid drive is a welcome addition to the band. 


Chris Harris is from Eden NC

He  is one of the finest young talents to come onto the bluegrass scene in awhile.  Chris has won many mandolin competitions including Galax and Merlefest and is also a great guitar player and songwriter.   He also sings all parts on Ramblers Choice shows.        

Billy Hawks on fiddle lives in Dobson NC.  He started playing music when he was nine years old.  He contributes his music playing to his mother.  Billy played with Big Country for seven years,  has filled in with Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver and has recorded with numerous groups from that region.   He also owns and operates a recording studio in Dobson where he records alot of local talent from his area.  Billy says that Booby Hicks is one of his favorite fiddle players.   His versatility and traditional fiddlin' style is a big part of the bands new sound.
